Captain George Iskandar (“George”) leads an experienced and knowledgeable workforce assisted by a vast international network that can provide strategic assistance and guidance to solve complex marine technical, commercial and operating issues.

George is a second generation Maritime Executive and has held positions as a senior executive in World class Ship-Owning Groups holding such positions as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, Head of Ship-Management, Director of Commercial Departments and Commercial operations. His experience includes running such departments as Chartering, Brokerage, Projects, New Business, Sales and Purchase, Ship Management and Operations. This experience spans forty years in Chemical Tankers, Tankers, LPG carriers, and their cargoes. He has been a ship owner in his own right.

George was born in Alexandria, Egypt and educated at the Royal College of Science and Technology, now the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland (Master Mariner). McGill University, Montreal, Canada, (Transportation Management) and Baldwin Wallace University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA (M.B.A. International Management). Is a Fellow with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, London, England. Spent twelve years at sea from Cadet to Captain. Serving two and a half years in command of state of the art chemical tankers with the Stolt Nielsen Transportation Group ("Stolt") - the world's largest chemical carrier group.

George is presently the Managing Director at Alexander Management Consulting & Marine Transportation Specialists LLC, a privately-owned firm offering International Maritime expertise in all facets of the Liquid Marine Transportation Industry. Prior to that he represented Stolt in Canada for seventeen years, then served at their US head office (Greenwich, CT) for eight years, and most recently served at their global headquarters (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) for two and a half years.

George served for twelve years as Commercial Director, at Enerchem Ship Management and Transport Group (second largest and most diverse tanker and chemical tanker owning group in Canada). The Company also managed a fleet of 8 bulkers and self unloaders for the Royal Bank of Canada and operated Cleveland Tankers in Ohio (Only US Flag Tanker ship owning company in the Great Lakes).

His executive experience spans forty years of Canadian, US and foreign flag operations.
